About
Dr. Clingman founded the Victorian Paranormal Society in London, 1892, during his investigations into electricity, spiritualism, and the boundaries between life and death. His work with cathode rays, séances, and the measurement of psychic force established protocols still in use today.
After his death in 1919, his papers were lost and the Society lay dormant until 2024, when his biographer, Wayne Clingman, recovered the original archives and revived the organization using Dr. Clingman’s instruments and methods.
The Work
We employ Victorian scientific methods—careful measurement, witnessed documentation, and controlled conditions—to explore phenomena conventional science dismisses and popular media exploits.
The séance is not theater. It is technology: darkness, electricity, and the willing surrender of energy between the living and the unproven.
